The WCC Common Book Program Sponsorship Information

 

Funding for the Common Book is sought to enhance the impact of the program by such things as purchasing copies of the book, creating learning resources, and paying speaker’s fees.


Sponsorship Levels

Event Sponsor: $250

  • Event sponsors are thanked during welcoming remarks by the moderator,
  • Event sponsors are named in printed materials,
  • Event sponsors are named and thanked in the event listing on the Common Book web page.

Book Sponsor: $500

  • Book sponsors have their name included on a label placed inside a set of 20 to 25 books provided to local area high school students,
  • Book sponsors are thanked during welcoming remarks by the moderator,
  • Book sponsors are named and thanked on the Common Book web page.

Program Sponsors: $1,000

  • Program sponsors are thanked during welcoming remarks by the moderator at every Common Book event for that year,
  • Program sponsors are named in all press releases and printed materials for that year,
  • Program sponsors are named and thanked on the Common Book web page for that year's program.

What is a Common Book?

The goal of the Common Book Program is that everyone at the College - students, faculty and staff - and people in the community will read and discuss the same book over an entire semester. There will be events organized such as movies, lectures, and discussions which will connect to themes in the book. More
