What is Educational Talent Search?
Educational Talent Search (ETS) serves young people in grades six through twelve. The program provides academic, career, and financial aid counseling to its participants and encourages them to graduate from high school and continue on to the postsecondary school of their choice. Students will participate in grade-specific career exploration and college planning activities.
Who is Eligible for ETS?
- Students in grades 6 to 12 at the following target schools:
Kailua High
Kahuku High & Intermediate
Laie Elementary
Waialua High & Intermediate
Waimanalo Elementary and Intermediate
Dole Middle
Jarrett Middle
Washington Middle
Farrington High
Kaimuki High
McKinley High
- US Citizens or eligible non-citizens
- Preference given to low-income, first-generation students

How Do I Apply?
See your school counselor or call Educational Talent Search for an application. Work with your parents or guardians in filling out the forms, and return completed applications to your counselor or to ETS at Windward Community College by mail to the address below:
