Krishna Das is known as one of the most gifted, inspirational, and devotional singers of sacred music in the world today. He is known as "Kirtanwallah" (Chantmaster), and has been called the "Pavarotti of Chant."

KD's fans find themselves transported by the mix of Sanskrit lyrics and Eastern instruments with rock chord progressions. His chant cds sell briskly to yoga students and teachers, and world music fans - all who are on an inner journey.

In KD's own words, "Chanting is a way of getting in touch with yourself. It's an opening of the heart and letting go of the mind and thoughts. It deepens the channels of grace, and is a way of being present in the moment."
