The Feral Chickens

Habitat
A typical chicken clan will control an area of lawn that will include places to graze, roost, hide and sleep. Click here for a map of chicken territories on campus.
The banyan trees, tables, and railings are typical places for roosting.
Cars parked nearby are often good platforms for sleeping.
Hiding places will include bushes, trees (especially banyan trees) and basements or other sheltered places connected to the buildings.
The great lawn and the base of any of the banyan trees are typical places to see the feral chickens feeding. They can also be seen feeding anywhere on campus where a human feeder typically leaves food (see Recipes for Chickens)
