- Are you kidding? I'm a transplanted New Englander, any place on these islands is my favorite. I am partial, however, to the "Secret Beach" on Kauai.

- A portion of Reinhold Niebuhr's poem "God Grant Me The Serenity, to accept the things I cannot change..." You can't imagine how many times a week I have to take a deep breath, and recite that poem. Well, you get the idea.
