Why is it so Important?

1. To get the best score so you can avoid taking extra review classes.
2. To cut down on the time it takes you to meet your Math requirements.

What Level Test You Need to Start With?

1. If you have never had algebra before, start out with the beginning level test (pre-algebra).
2. If you have had algebra before, take the middle level of difficulty test (algebra).
3. If you have had higher than intermediate algebra, take the highest level of difficulty test (college algebra/trigonometry).

What do you need to do for the Test?

1. Practice and review all the problems from the Compass Math Review for the level that you plan to start with. The relevant links are as follows:

2. Borrow a Math book from the WCC Math Lab or WCC Library at the level of the test that you plan to start with.
3. Be careful not to hurry through the test and select your answers carefully.
