Why is it so Important?
- To get the best score so you can avoid taking extra review classes.
- To cut down on the time it takes you to meet your Math requirements.
What Level Test You Need to Start With?
- If you have never had algebra before, start out with the beginning level test (pre-algebra).
- If you have had algebra before, take the middle level of difficulty test (algebra).
- If you have had higher than intermediate algebra, take the highest level of difficulty test (college algebra/trigonometry).
What do you need to do for the Test?
- Practice and review all the problems from the Compass Math Review for the level that you plan to start with.

- Borrow a Math book from the WCC Math Lab or WCC Library at the level of the test that you plan to start with.
- Be careful not to hurry through the test and select your answers carefully.
