Site 4: Restoration. To get to this site, one takes the road before the entrance to He'eia State Park that goes down a small hill to a clearing. Follow the road that travels away from the sea. The first picture shows our sampling site. The second picture shows an area where the mangrove has been cleared as a part of the restoration project.
